Your data

Privacy

A straightforward account and monitoring data policy for this local application.

What the application stores

Individual Accounts stores the email address and authentication data you provide. DomainDropper also stores watchlist preferences, in-app alerts and registration-attempt audit records associated with your user ID.

Registry data

Domain lifecycle information comes from Nominet's public drop list and RDAP service. The application retains historical drop-list rows locally because Nominet overwrites its public file.

External services

No registration request is sent unless a registrar provider is explicitly configured and the relevant workflow is authorised. SMTP email alerts are disabled by default. Configure credentials through .NET user secrets or environment variables rather than committing them to source control.
